On the final day of the Groot Atelier Weekend Rotterdam (GRAW), Oud House organised an informal meetup for all makers and creative professionals from Bospolder‑Tussendijken. While three former school buildings in the neighbourhood opened their studios to the public, Oud House offered a moment for the makers themselves to meet one another.

Twenty artists and designers from all studio buildings in BoTu joined the gathering — including photographers, illustrators, ceramic artists and fashion designers. During the meetup, participants exchanged experiences, shared business cards and explored possibilities for new collaborations. In this way, the event marked an initial step toward strengthening a local creative community that otherwise rarely encounters one another behind the walls of the various studio spaces.

With this foundation, Oud House hopes to commission more paid assignments within the neighbourhood in the future, ensuring that BoTu’s makers become more visible and can contribute to projects in their own environment. The meetup clearly left people wanting more: the aim is to repeat this gathering regularly and develop it into a sustainable network of creative professionals in the area.
