Your program at Oud House?

Oud House loves to have your work displayed in the neighborhood. You want to curate an exhibition, or organize an event or popup, or have your own work on view in our corner space, or maybe you just have an idea for a theme and you would like to brainstorm about the possibilities, you have found the right place.

The programming of Oud House serves two purposes:

• display the local art production (BoTu and direct surroundings)
• communicate about themes relevant to the area

Since September 2024 we have worked with over 60 artists from BoTu, using media varying between ceramics, cooking, photography, illustration, fashion, architecture, design and jewellery. Our programs have touched upon themes such as gender identity, sexual harassment, energy transition, social housing, postwar reconstruction and gentrification.

Quick turnaround

In order to keep the space vibrant and surpising, and to accommodate as many participants as possible, Oud House purposefully keeps a short term planning and aims to develop programs at a fast pace. So if you have an idea you want to realise within a few weeks that might just be possible.

Group shows

Our program usually involves group and/or themed exhibitions. We usually do not host solo art shows, since these limit the possible number of participants and in our experience these do not keep a continuous audience interested for longer periods of time. If you would like to display your work in a solo setup, consider a popup expo or an event. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.

Support

Our team of dedicated exhibition designers can assist you in developing your idea and help with the budget, design, buildup and event organisation. If you are at the start of your career, or you are considering a professional path into the arts or design, we can advise you on the steps to take towards independent entrepreneurship.
