Iza Koczanowska is an artist, researcher, and interior architect based between Amsterdam and Warsaw. Her practice approaches space as a relational environment shaped by people, materials, and landscapes. Through site-responsive fieldwork, close observation, material experimentation, sound, and speculative installation-making, she investigates unstable territories shaped by resource extraction and mass tourism. Her work explores how these relationships might be renegotiated, bringing different modes of perception into proximity and imagining alternative ways of inhabiting and relating to place.
