Pita Kim is an interdisciplinary artist based in Rotterdam, working primarily with sound, space, and listening. Her practice explores how space can be listened to, focusing on intangible conditions such as sound, vibration, movement, and bodily presence. Through sound-based installations and spatial interventions, she investigates how materials, bodies, and surrounding environments shape and transform our perception of space. Her work often begins with specific sites and their existing traces, using listening as a way to reveal overlooked relations and to recalibrate how we perceive and position ourselves within our surroundings.
